We love to stop by for lunch when we're in Baltimore. They have the best wings and cheese steaks we've ever had. Our boys have always enjoyed the grilled cheese and chicken tenders. They have lots of TVs so you can enjoy your favorite sports. We've been going here for more than 14 years.

Sound system was extremely loud and had no bass, so it was very harsh on all of our ears. The only people that doesn't seem to effect are the ones who are already drunk. Besides that it was a good atmosphere, good service, and good crowd.

4 and a half starz from me. Wonderful staff and food. The cheesesteak was amazing. Always get american cheese.

Great food! I tend to get takeout, which can be kind of crazy on game days. Still worth it as the cheesesteaks are the best in the area.

My Volunteer group went there after our service event. We had the second floor reserved for our gathering. We received happy hour prices for their cheese steaks and drinks. Our server, I am sorry I don't remember her name, (dang), was awesome. She was very friendly and personable. There was a gentleman who brought food to our group a couple of times who was also very friendly. Nice place. The cheese steaks were very tasty. My sister and I split one. Enjoyed our time there. Recommend for sure!

I've been here 3 times and they are awesome! The bartenders are super nice n the cheese steaks are to die for!!! Absolutely love everything about them!!! I'll be back

A great lively bar with good food! The best cheesesteaks in town! I try to go every Thursday at 6:30pm for 5$ cheesesteak's. You can't beat that deal!

Great local bar in Federal Hill. Always friendly service. They typically have some variety of drink special and the menu overall has plenty of options. Don’t skip a cheesesteak if you stop by as they have one of the best in Baltimore. The egg rolls are always a good choice as well.

I love the place and have been going since the current owners took control. The food is good if simple though it's the best cheesesteak in the area and the bartenders are both quick and friendly

Customer service was great. The Philly cheese steak on the other hand.. not very much cheese. The steak was dry and needed some seasoning. And the extra veggies are 75 cents more for each extra veggie.

The cheesesteak egg rolls are heaven.

Surprisingly great food, and EAGLES. Service takes forever, though. Probably from how busy they are, but still, an hour and 20 minutes for a cheese steak during a game. We ordered at the half, too!

I’ve really enjoyed going to Magerks on Fridays to take advantage of the great specials ($3 drafts before 7 pm and $5 cheesesteaks after 7 pm). The food is good and I’d recommend trying it.But, I’ve noticed that the food service is usually not very good. I understand that you get what you pay for, but I’ve had a few too many experiences where the service is either rude or the server has a bad attitude which really impacts the experience. This is not to say every server is bad because we have had decent service there on Fridays. Just beware that Friday’s can have very poor service for food.

Steak and cheese Egg rolls with Whiz Cheese and the Eagle style Hot wings with ranch were outstanding.

My favorite place to eat in fed. Bartenders are pros. Large selection of beers and drinks. Big menu, I like the eggrolls. Cheese steaks are OK but overrated. Not Gino or Pats quality. Avoid $5 cheese steak night, no place to sit, the place full of broke loud losers. I have no problem paying 8 bucks the other 6 nights of the week. Lol

This pub is an adorable little hole in the wall next to the Cross Street Market. The staff is always super friendly and nice, and the food is usually delivered quickly and fresh. I always get the chicken fingers and tater tots which are pretty standard frozen food fare. But they are still pretty tasty regardless.

I absolutely LOVE this pub. I go every 2 weeks and I enjoy most of their specials. Nice atmosphere and great location. As with most bars/pubs in the area parking sucks but the food and drinks make up for it

I went to Magerks Friday night with a bunch of friends. We got there pretty early and it was a good crowd that lasted all night. The music was really good, on more of a social vibe than club, which I appreciated! Despite being crazy busy at the back bar, the bartenders were great- very attentive and friendly. I had a really good time there. Definitely adding this place to the list of bars to stop by while in Fed Hill!

Stopped by on a Wednesday night with some friends. We got wings on special and drank draft beer. The food and drink was great. It wasn't too crowded. Service was friendly and fast. I would head back to McGerks anytime.

It’s always a good time when I go and my friends love this bar but two different occasions I had the bartender add a tip to my tab. It kind of sours the mood, make sure you bring cash if you do go.

I’m from Philly, residing in Baltimore and these cheesesteak egg rolls are official. I’m not a huge fan of the way they actual do cheesesteak (it’s a science) but the rolls and wings you cant go wrong. On Wednesdays after 7p the wings are 50 cent each. Three bars to choose from.

The food here is delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is self seating which is always awesome. I had the cheesesteak egg rolls and a spicy shrimp wrap which were both tasty. Could’ve use a bit more shrimp in the wrap but all in all I was very satisfied with the wrap. Cheesesteak egg rolls were phenomenal. And I like that they are made fresh and in house and that I could customize my order by adding mushrooms or peppers or switching up the cheeses.

Great atmosphere, food is also delicious

This place used to be fun, then I got older. Still popular with the young crowd. Not big on the food. They tend to have great drink specials for sports and special events. Great place to party if that's your thing.

The dj was awesome!!! The bartenders were super cool and the atmosphere was fun. Throwback Thirsty Thursday.

Love this place. Great service and amazing cheese steaks. By far the best I've had. Order fried pickles or taters with it, and a beer, and no regrets.

Fun bar to watch the OSU games at during the Fall. The drinks are pretty cheap and they’re usually running some beer bucket deals. The food was surprisingly good. It’s a Philadelphia themed bar so they have a bunch of different versions of Philly Cheesesteaks. A word of caution, on game days they usually have two different games going on. One upstairs and one downstairs. So if you don’t see your game on downstairs, then they’ll probably have it upstairs.
